  Get your hand dirty and  make a difference! Join us for a hands-on habitat restoration series as we remove invasive plants right in our local park, Hill Street. We are working with the Mount Prospect Park District on this collaborative effort! Hill Street Work Days: 9:30-11:30am NOTE: Sat. 8/1 is canceled due to rain Register  here.  Join us for a  free Native Garden Tour  featuring Mount Prospect gardens that have incorporated native plants and sustainable practices into their landscapes! Explore the gardens at your own pace—walk, bike, carpool, or drive between locations. At each stop, you’ll find educational resources and inspiration to help you create a more sustainable yard of your own. Interested in biking the tour with a group?  Meet the other riders here!   Green Careers: Exploring Your Path in Sustainability   Are you curious about environmental careers or wondering how you can make an impact? Join Go Green Mount Prospect and Go Green Des Plaines for an evening of connection and conversation with professionals working in sustainability. Hear from experts in careers related to sustainability and the  environment share their experiences, career paths, and advice for anynone interested in the environmental field. Come early from 6:00–6:30 PM to meet others and connect with panelists. The panel discussion will run from 6:30–7:30 PM, followed by additional time for questions and conversation from 7:30-8pm.  Submit your questions ahead of time  and come ready to explore what a future in sustainability could look like!
